Throughout the evening, you'll be serenaded by some of the finest Italian musical acts this side of the ocean, including accordionist Penny Sanborn, The Calgary Renaissance Singers & Players, operatic soprano Anna Casurella and One Voice Chorus. Saturday, March 4th at The Unitarian Church of Calgary (1703 1 Street NW)Doors open at 6 p.m., with drinks and entertainment. Join us as we celebrate March Forth, a new(ish) holiday in which people make a special effort to improve their lives and "march forth" toward their dreams and aspirations. We've teamed up with a number of local groups to make the evening, with its focus on Italian cooking and culture, both educational and fun!Guests will be treated to a sumptuous demonstration Italian dinner, prepared by Janey Bevan of Chef at Your Shoulder. Sommelier John Beckel will discuss the evening's wine pairings.
